The MAJA Salmon Skinning Machine type ESB 4434/2P is best suitable for skinning of fresh and smoked salmon fillets. The big advantage of the patented MAJA Deep-Skinning Technology is the high yield and excellent skinning result. With this technology, only the brown fat in the middle of the salmon fillet is removed, so that almost no red meat is taken away with the skin. The operator puts the fillet in the center of the conveyor belt. Subsequently, the fillet is introduced in the blade system by a special pressure roller.

MAJA patented deep-skinning system (/P)

Thanks to this special skinning method, only parts of the brown fat layer (the width can be adjusted according to the processors demand) are removed together with the skin. Adjacent lean meat on the right and left side of the fillet are left intact. This technique leads to premium quality and simultaneously increases yield by up to 3 % compared to conventional methods.

Air-filled pressure roller/s

Downward pressure on the product is provided by adjustable air-filled roller/s guaranteeing effective yet smooth handling of the fillets.

Water spray device

To be switched on if necessary for rinsing away skin waste from the tooth roller.
